At Lovely Professional University (LPU), there is no strict daily dress code for B.Tech students during regular classes, and casual attire is generally acceptable as long as it is neat and respectful. However, for certain occasions, LPU emphasizes professional dressing to help students prepare for the corporate world. For Professional Enhancement Programme (PEP) classes, placement drives, interviews, and special events like guest lectures or convocations, students are expected to wear formal attire such as collared shirts, trousers, blazers, and formal shoes to maintain a professional atmosphere. Additionally, during lab sessions, wearing lab coats is mandatory to ensure safety and hygiene. Overall, while everyday dress is flexible, LPU encourages students to dress appropriately for academic and professional activities to cultivate a professional demeanor and readiness for future career opportunities.

Hello there,

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), there isn't a strict dress code for B.Tech students during regular classes. Students are generally free to wear casual yet decent clothing that adheres to the university's guidelines on decency and decorum. However, there are specific occasions where a formal dress code is expected. For instance, during Professional Enhancement Programme (PEP) classes, students are required to wear formal attire to prepare for corporate environments. Additionally, during events like guest lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences, and convocations, students are expected to dress formally. This typically includes collared shirts or T-shirts with trousers for boys, and collared shirts with trousers, kurtas with leggings or jeggings, or skirts for girls. Formal shoes are also mandatory during these events. It's worth noting that while uniforms are not mandatory for B.Tech students, they may be required for certain programs like MBA, BBA, Hotel Management, and others. In such programs, students are expected to wear uniforms that align with industry standards and maintain a professional appearance. For B.Tech students, the emphasis is on wearing appropriate attire for specific occasions, while maintaining a balance between comfort and professionalism.

I hope this helps.

At Lovely Professional University (LPU), students are not required to adhere to a standardized dress code for their regular attendance and daily activities. However, it is important to note that there are specific dress code guidelines that students are expected to follow for certain events and occasions. This flexibility allows students to express their personal style while still maintaining a respectful and appropriate appearance for the university community.

hi

There is no specific dress code for BTech students, you can wear whatever is comfortable and to your liking.

However, if you are taking soft skills courses you should wear formal attire and when working in a lab you should wear appropriate clothing (especially a lab coat)  to not cause pollution and comply with regulations.

Yes,

Students have to follow the dress code during lectures, guest lectures, workshops, seminars, etc. After, lectures over, they can wear anything they want. After that, there is no restriction for the dress code.

Students are considered as a reflection of any Educational Institution. So, LPU wants to prepare its students to get accustomed to professional appearance starting from their student life at the University. To achieve this objective, a policy ‘Dress Code & Uniform Policy’ has been issued.

Hi aspirant,

There is no particular dress code Bachelor of Technology Degrees students for daily routine classes. But during Soft Skill classes and placement drives, you have to wear Formal Dresses .

Dear student, there is no dress code. But students across sreams study Soft Skills and for that they need to wear formals. Other than this, on the day of placement drive students tend to come wearing formals.

Students are asked to wear formals but it is not a compulsion. So its up to whether you follow this rule or not.

Good Luck!!!
