I have done engineering from Thapar, 5 years back and can assure you that there is not management quota available in Thapar. If you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned here: http://www.thapar.edu/admissions/pages/eligibility then only you get the admission in there.

According to me, in the case of management quota query college or university is the only one who can help you properly. because management quota fees is differ student to student and it is also depends upon some factors as well like your marks , score in entrance exam, rank in entrance exam , etc. so i will suggest you that try to contact with college directly.
