See if you can learn Coding or you have excellent skills in teaching then you will easily get a chance to get placed after a MSc in Physics from IIT. The placements are open to all that is you are eligible to apply for companies those are for Engineering and if you have good skills you will obviously get selected. Apart from that you will get a chance to go in research in foreign universities as the IIT's have good tie ups with the best international universities. Also after MSc you can prepare for BARC examination. BARC OGES is the best option for Physics student. As you crack JAM and if you study well there then you will made your base so strong to crack the exam of BARC.

I hope my answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
