Yes there is only one IIST i.e. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology in India. It is situated in Kerala. It was established in 2007.

You can find this to be more efficient or good than IIT. Any other institute does not stand in comparison to it in case of studies, ISRO is an exception. It is ranked 23 by NIRF 2018.
