Yes. there is registration for all categories in post graduate too. This depends on the criteria set by the state government and the central government, If you are high enough in your category rank, you do not need to take and unreserved seat. If the category seats are occupied, then the UR seats will be allotted according to merit only. There is no other way to take a UR seat. It depends on your marks and merit.
