Your EWS ranking around 18k so According to previous year cutoff less chance to get in mechanical engineering because the previous year cutoff of ME home state boys EWS category 17257 but you may get seats in materials science of engineering.

You can't get seat in nit harimpur because your rank is little bit higher than the cutoff rank.

Cutoff for mechanical engineering for EWS in home state is

8825 - 15463 for all 7 rounds.

Better you choose some other universities to pursue your course. There are also other nit and IITs and many top universities offering mechanical engineering.
