Hello aspirant!!
Hope you are doing well. TSECET is an entrence exam to persue your undergraduation course in your desired field. For this your need to have a diploma degree and you need to qualify minimum of 36% in your TSECET exam. Hence you go through the counselling, cerficates verification and Web options criteria. Based on the marks you have scored the ranks will be allotted. The cut off is different for different colleges. And most importantly the cut off is based on the following criteria :
1. Caste categories
2. Number of students appeared for the exam
3. Number of seats available in the colleges.
4. Minimum marks secured by the students.
5. According to the branches
So these are the main criterias which are considered during the allottment of seat by the authorities. So, as we all know that first preference is given to the SC and ST category students and then to minorities and then to OBC students.
As you have scored a rank of 397 in CSE branch you may have chances of getting admission into JNTU college if the cut off is above the rank you have scored. So, there may be some chances that they may consider you according to your rank wise and your caste wise. I hope you will get your desired college.
All the best!!
