The Master of Arts in Geography is full time two-year postgraduate degree course, and it is offered by the University of Delhi, Delhi. The eligibility criteria to pursue this course is given below :

Criteria 1 :

• The candidate should have passed B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geography University of Delhi or any other University recognized by University of Delhi, 55% or above marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade.
• The candidate should have passed B.A./ B.Sc./B.Ed. with Geography or its equivalent University of Delhi or any other University recognized by University of Delhi, 55% or above in Geography papers and 50 % or above in aggregate or an equivalent grade.

Criteria 2 :

The candidates who satisfy the above eligibility criteria need to appear for Entrance Examination. The passing percentage of entrance examination is :

• General Category = 40% and above
• OBC & PwD Category  = 36% and above
• SC / ST Category = N.A.
• Sports, ECA, CW & FN Category = 40% and above

The candidates who have completed BA Hons. in Geography from the Delhi University with an aggregate of 50% or more are eligible for direct admissions without any entrance test.

The admission in Delhi University in MA Geography is based on merit in entrance exam. So you cannot get admission based on merit in class 12.The eligibility criteria is that a candidate must have passed B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geography or B.A./ B.Sc./B.Ed. with Geography or its equivalent from University of Delhi or any other University recognized by University of Delhi with atleast 55% aggregate in and overall 50% aggregate or n equivalent grade.
