Delhi Technological University, formerly known as the Delhi College of Engineering is a state university in New Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the University of Delhi.

Dtu is a government engineering college in Delhi. It is among top 10 government engineering colleges in India.

The college is AICTE approved. And more than 65% of students of mechanical branch get placed every year. Top recruiting companies include Mahindra, ONGC.

The college has very good infrastructure ,but the total course fees is around 8lakhs.

hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that mechanical engineering stream of dtu is quite good and faculities of mechanical engineering are very decent and nice and well experienced . Moroever ,if you want a job in IT company , you can prepare for dsa and projects and sits with cse students as in last students of all stream sit together in placements
