Being one of the premier academic institutions in the country, the level of input you should put into your JEE Mains preparation should be quite high. 

I would advice you to atleast score above 170 to stand a high chance of getting into SVNIT.

According, to previous year cut off you should score more then 165 marks in JEE Main to get SVNIT Surat in general category other state quota.

Cut off marks varies as per the branches as well.
