if you spent your last 7 years of education/schooling in karnataka, then you can apply for KCET.

for OTHER STATE STUDENTS, who have not comes under this above eligibility will need to satisfy some other eligibility criteriae,

• the candidate must take one language test(kannada)
• mother tongue should be kannada or tulu
• one of parents of candidates should be domiciled in karnataka

if you're not satisfying this things,then you're not eligible for this exam.please refer this below link for your reference:
