Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is Gujarat so you will be eligible for home state quota SVNIT surat, I am considering you from general category.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 6 of josaa counselling 2020 ,  75656 was the closing rank for gender neutral for general category under home state in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat and it was for Chemistry (5 Years, Integrated Master of Science)

You can check the same at

And to get around 75656 rank, you need at least around 95-100 marks as per rank predictor  at

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Dear aspirant,

For svnit surat there is as such no minimum marks needed to score which would secure your seat as in different shifts the score is different for a candidate who would get a percentile. Like in shift 1- may be you are getting 140 and you are scoring 97 percentile as it was a tougher paper or maybe because of the quality of the candidates but let's say in shift -2 you are getting 180 but you are getting 96 percentile.

So, it depends on these kind of factors and therefore it may not be exact.

But still on a general basis if I had to predict for svnit surat and for general category and considering home state 97.5 percentile is a must which means around 150 marks.
