Hello,to get admission into any NIT,getting above 75% aggregate in 12th class is mandatory. For getting admission into older NITs, it is safe to secure marks between 150 to 180 and to get admission into newer NITs,it is safe to secure marks between 120 to 140.The stated marks may slightly vary above or below the given range depending on the no.of candidates appearing,no. of seats available, difficulty of exam etc..The total marks of the JEE advanced exam will differ from year to year and hence the marks cannot be accurately predicted as it depends on the total marks. The total no. of questions that will be asked in JEE advanced is 54.Make sure to get atleast 30-35 questions correctly.
All the best!!
