With an All India Rank (AIR) of 197,437 and an OBC-NCL category rank of 67,565 in JEE Main 2025 , it is unlikely that you will get admission to Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) . Last year, the closing rank for the CSE branch was around 32,664 for general category candidates, and for OBC-NCL candidates, it tends to be slightly higher.

However, you can still explore other options like:

1. Lower cutoff branches at TIET , such as Computer Engineering or Robotics & AI .
