This might have happened due to various factors. Though in my opinion, this might have happened due to his eligibility for some of the quota offered in Delhi engineering colleges, like Kashmiri Migrant quota, Defense personnel quota. Though these quotas are not eligible for OBC students, she might have got the seat on the basis of these eligibilities. Another reason can be the choice of branches, the branches she might have preferred might be above other choices. Though, all these are speculations and can only be cleared once all the info about her is out.
