401 marks in NEET UG of your daughter, in the defence quota, state, category, and type of college (government or private) will be the deciding factors. Basically, the defence cutoff is a little lower than the general cutoff, which is more pronounced in states like Rajasthan, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

Moreover, she may be the one to get a seat if she is from a defence background and satisfies the domicile criteria of the state. Then she might be able to get into a private or semi-government medical college, but it is highly unlikely that she will get a government MBBS seat with 401 marks in most states; however, applying is not a bad idea. Though you can apply through All India as well as through State Counselling.
