My daughter has scored 97.75 in 'best of four" in 12th exam. Will she get admission into BA honours in English in Hindu College?

Hello Ma'am,

First of all many many congratulations to you & your daughter. As you said it is the percentage of best 4 subjects. For BA (H) English Hindu college cut off begins from 97.75 & falls steadily according to cut off lists. But it's compulsory to have such score in English as well.

Yes, without a doubt.

The cut off for English Honors, at Hindu normally stops at 96 percent and starts around 97.75 percent. So I am happy to note that she will get in by the 2nd and at worst, 3rd cutoff.

I know this, because I missed admission in English Literature in Hindu by a single mark and had to settle for Ramjas.

If possible, your ward might also earn a seat in St.Stephens, though we can only wait and see.
