My engg cut off is 173 can I get govt engg clg in Tamil nadu..?plz help me..

Hello Madhurusha,

For your cutoff, i think its pretty to get a top government engineering college via TNEA counselling in open category. However you can look for several other private colleges like Sairam College of technology, VelTech , Bannari Amman Institute of Technology etc. However certain government colleges like government college of engineering Tanjavur, Ariyalur etc which aren't much recognised universities. Better to take up renowned private universities rather than non familiar government colleges when it comes to TNEA. If you belong to other community, through community based rankings , you can even get some better colleges than I mentioned above.
