Hi Akhilesh
As your home state is Maharashtra , you have high chances of getting into NIT Nagpur.
I'm not sure if you'll get Electrical engineering there as you are on the border of the last year cut off. So keeps your fingers crossed.
I'll suggest that you fill electrical as your first preference and then mechanical while counseling so that even if you don't electrical engineering there , you get into mechanical engineering , work hard in the first year and then upgrade yourself to electrical.

As you secured rank of 15811 is very good .and also your homestate is maharashtra is very good to hear

But according to data analysis of the previous years with your rank you are not able get electrical in VNIT.because the competition very high in VNIT
