Now if we go through the cutoffs of various NITs, if you belong to general category, then getting CSE might be difficult. Apart from CSE, you can expect Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering in NITs such as Uttarakhand, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Patna, Andhra Pradesh, Durgapur etc under All India quota. You may get CSE in North East NITs or NIT Srinagar, Hamirpur etc as the cutoffs are low. However this is based on previous years' data, and this year it might change.
