Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . With a score of 574 ,getting a government medical college in the state of Rajasthan seems very difficult through the state quota given that you belong to general category.

In 2021 , the cutoffs are expected to be somewhat similar to last year's. In 2020,the cutoff score for a general category candidate to get a government medical college was 628 with a closing AIR of 9032 . You needed to score atleast 630+ in order to get a government medical seat.

Also for management quota seats in government medical colleges in Rajasthan, the cutoff score 599 was with a closing AIR of 20,533. So getting a management quota seat in a government medical college in Rajasthan also seems difficult for you.

Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

Apply to JSS University Mysore 2025

However you can try for government or management quota seats of other courses like BDS or Ayush .Also , if you want to apply in open states you can only do it for private colleges but won't be able to get a government medical seat .

Further :

You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state  from the link given below :

Hello,

If we go through last year AIQ cut-offs for UR, then it has been above 611 marks, as the cut-offs are on higher side, hence comparatively with 574 marks chances for GMC seem tough, you may have chances for ESIC Dental College, Gulbaraga through AIQ, have a look at last year AIQ cut-offs at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan to know more details regarding this

As your domicile state is Rajasthan, hence if we go through last year cut-offs for management quota in GMC then it has been 599 marks with corresponding rank of 20533, hence chances regarding this seem tough, though there are possibilities of government quota in the following private medical colleges such as

  • MGMC, Jaipur
  • American Int. Inst. of Med. Sc., Udaipur
  • Ananta Institute of Med. Sc., Rajsamand, etc..

Check out the previous year cut-offs for Rajasthan at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-rajasthan

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

Dear Student ,

As per your rank and based on last year NEET cut off in Rajasthan , you have less chances to get any Govt colleges for MBBS . Well, some of the colleges you may get through Govt and management quota is as follows :

  • JNU Institute for Med. Sc. & RC, Jaipur- Govt -535967 Mgmnt    627692
  • NIMS, Jaipur    Govt    590335
  • Pacific Insti. of MS, Udaipur    Govt    670554 and few more

But , remember the cut off may change each year due to several reasons like seat matrix, difficulty level of exam etc.
