The cutoff for SRM chennai campus in 2016 was 10000 for Computer Science and engineering. By going with this trend, your rank may lead you to other campuses of SRM if you want CSE only. However, you can also opt for IT branch in chennai campus and study there only. Moreover, don't rely on past trends much because the trends may not apply to this year's situation. So better wait for the results of spot counselling! And keep an option handy too!
