Hi,
Your chances for the clinical branch with the rank of 58000 in NEET PG and caste BC-B are limited if you are looking for government colleges but you have possibilities in private universities. You might also get DNB seat in some clinical fields. For top clinical branches your chances are low.
Hope it helps!!!
Hello,
With a NEET PG rank of 58,000 (BC-B), getting a clinical seat in a government college is unlikely. However, you may get private college seats under the state quota (KNRUHS) in less competitive branches like Psychiatry, Pathology, or Microbiology.
Participate in Telangana state counselling and check Category-A seats in private colleges. Fees range from 7.5 L to 60 L per year. For better options, consider DNB seats in smaller hospitals where cut-offs are more flexible.
Hope you understand.

With a NEET PG rank of around 58,000 and BCB category, it is difficult to get top clinical branches like MD General Medicine, MD Paediatrics, MD Radiodiagnosis or MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology in government colleges. Based on previous year trends, such branches usually close below 25,000–30,000 ranks even for reserved categories.
However, with your rank, you may still get clinical branches like:
MD Anaesthesiology
MS ENT
MS Ophthalmology
MD Community Medicine
DNB Family Medicine
DNB Anaesthesia
DNB Ophthalmology
These are possible in private medical colleges or DNB institutes , especially in states like Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra , where the number of private and DNB seats is higher.
You should also participate in state quota and DNB counselling , as you may get a clinical branch under BCB category in less competitive colleges or non-metro locations.
If you prefer a government seat, you may need to consider non-clinical branches like Pathology, Pharmacology, or Microbiology.
You can also use the NEET PG College Predictor Tool to predict which colleges you can get based on your score or rank.
Thank you !
