Prediction of college depends on a lot of factors and hence, it cannot be 100% precise. However, it will give you a rough idea about the colleges that your son can expect at this rank.

Since, he is a general candidate, he can only expect to get CS/ IT branches in GFTIs through his rank. He can also apply in colleges like Kalinga, MIT, CMRIT, PES University, etc through his rank. Many private colleges accept JEE Ranks. Those options will be better than GFTIs.
