Hello student,
You have not mentioned which category you belong to. With a rank of 177.5 ,if your category is general, then the chances of getting into SSN college, Chennai is less when comparing the results of previous years. To get a seat there, 190 or above would remain a safe zone for any student. But, scores and cut offs vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. May be on can try in the management quota, if possible.
