Nit trichy is a brand and a tag will always further help you to grow in your carrer it has a great aluni network as well as active alumni cell for placement.
Even metallurgical engineering in nit trichy has a great placement records . It has an average package of 8lac .mostly students from nit trichy metallurgical branch ends up getting job in IT sectors .and even you can change your branch after one year if you score good GPA in your first year btech course.
