Around 50% of backward-class seats are reserved in the state of Maharashtra. The 200 MHT CET Seats Reservation will be based on Maharashtra's diverse backward class. OBC (Other Backward Class) has 19 per cent more seat reservations than Maharashtra 's Schedule Tribe and Scheduled Caste
