College Infrastructure
Yes, vjti has all the infrastructure required. It has a great campus which is located in the heart of Mumbai with state-of-the-art lab equipment and a brand new library. It has a good canteen and the only con is that is has a small campus of 22 acres only
Academics
One of the pros that sets vjti apart from other mu colleges is that it is an autonomous institute. So the syllabus is updated every year according to the demand in industries and helps in attracting many companies.
Placements
The placement is the thing that vjti matches with some of the top NITS in India. The highest package of 58lpa offered by Google and the placement process is simply amazing in vjti. The TPO is very helpful and tries to see that every student is placed.
Value-for-money
Being a government-funded institute the fees of vjti is less compared to other institutes in Mumbai and its worth every penny.
Campus Life
The activities are amazing in VJTI. The fests of Technovanza is one of the Biggest event in India

College Infrastructure
As I'm a student from Electrical Engg., our branch contains all necessary equipment for labs and research works. Our college contains both older and latest equipment, with the former giving a better understanding of the internal structure and development in the latest models and the latter giving exposure to the latest industrial machines. Facilities given by the college are fully utilized by the students and are well maintained. The campus is cleaned and green. Canteen food is tasty & heathy.
Academics
Pursuing Electrical Engg. the quality of teaching from the well experienced, having industrial exposure and huge knowledge of the subject creates an interest in the subject and passionate us. Our curriculum contains subjects including the recent developments in the field like Electric vehicles, Industrial IoT, etc. It helps us to understand the upcoming trend in the field and aware us about the recent technologies used by them which ultimately makes us ready for the job.
Placements
The placement of our college is exceptionally great! Talking about all the streams, approximately 40% of the students get placed. The highest package of the previous year was 58 LPA(CTC) at Google and the average package was around 7-8 LPA which was a great achievement for our TPO as the placement got boost this year.
Value-for-money
As compared to other affiliated colleges our college being government aided costs low per year. The content and courses offered under this money are of great worth. Also, the industrial exposure gave through seminars arranged by the faculties or organizations of the college is very useful and informative. The boost to research-oriented work given by our college encourages the student in this field to gain more knowledge and contribute to society.
Campus Life
Students can engage in various organizations like Technovanza(Technical fest), Enthusia(Sport fest), etc. This provides exposure to personality development and improves ourselves. Faculties and staff are very supportive and they encourage us to take part in the events and get exposure to some managerial work. These events take place on the campus itself with all kinds of safety measures and to handle emergencies.
Anything Else
As our college is autonomous, every field is encouraged by the people and for the people. Organizations like SRA(Robotics) and Research labs(CDRC, COE, etc) provide a various opportunity for the student to develop and enhance their skills through their smart work, publish conference paper and provides an opportunity to the overall development of its student. According to my opinion, my college is the best technical college in Mumbai

College Infrastructure
College have a vintage infrastucture. Classrooms are huge and air conditioned.Library is huge having a vast collection of books. Hostels are there with huge playgrounds. Students have a free internet facility at internet labs.Canteen are hygienic and provide food items at cheap costs.
Academics
Course is highly base on practical knowledge. Faculty is highly experienced and helping. Quality of teaching is excellent in this college. Curriculum is highly updated and revised and includes recent developments in fields and is highly industrial oriented.
Placements
Quality of placements in VJTI is excellent. Various companies like L&T,TOYO,Mahindra,Afcons,Tata Motors, etc visited for campus interview.Around 50% of students were placed in campus interview with salary package of 2-3 LPA
Value-for-money
Course cost per year around 10000 Rupees.Various government scholarships are also provided in this college for students.
Campus Life
College campus is huge.Various Events, Guest lectures and Exhibitions are organised at big level in this college. College teachers and staff is highly supportive. College is located at very hygienic area of Matunga surrounded with Don bosco school and ICT college Mumbai.

Infrastructure is okish as compared to brand. Improvement can be done on hostels and classrooms. Some building's are quite old and need renovation. Sports facility like gymkhana is open of limited hour's.
Academics
Academics are quite outdated except few courses like AI and ML rest most of the syllabus is same from many decades. Machines in practical lab are very old. There is state of the art LnT lab where engineers from Navy come for training.
Placements
Placements are above average as compared to other state level clgs. Average salary is well above 5 lakhs and highest above 20 lakhs. Dedicated Training and placement office with huge Hall to accommodate 200+ students for company presentation.
Value-for-money
For category student's it's always value for money same is the case here. But even for open category students fees is quite on lower side as compared to peers.
Campus Life
We had the worst director at our times so campus life was quite dull. Restrictions and Orthodox nature of the clg faculty makes one feel like studying in school or in 19th century college.
Anything Else
The college have great brand value in Industry. Many reputed companies come for hiring. Students are the real strength of the college. Most of the faculty is temporary which is quite worrying factor. Overall the college is great.

My college has one of the best infrastructure. It's infrastructure is old. But it has all new technical facilities. There's is projector in college, which makes learning easy. Labs are also best. Campus is always clean. Yes food is hygienic and taste is also good. There are 4 hostel in college. College also has WiFi and white board facilities.
Academics
Teachers are intelligent and there's best teaching staff in college. Both teachers and seniors are very helpful. Yes curriculum is updated and it's very useful according to placement point of view. As I am Electronics and Telecommunication First Year student, this branch is best according placement in both hardware and software field.
Placements
According to placement, college is best. CS, IT, EXTC, Mechanical Engineering branches have 100% placement and remaining branch have more 90% placement. 2021 ongoing placement is 44 lpa offered by Microsoft, 37 lpa offered by Udaan, etc. In overall college placement, average salary offered is 8.10 lpa. Yes the placement process easy and pleasant. College is most supportive in placement.
Value-for-money
College fee is 84k per year for open category. 43k per year obc category. There's are many scholarships offered by college so that none of the students facing financial problem in study.
Campus Life
College is at Matunga, Mumbai which is main area near to Dadar. Yes it's safe area and pleasant too. Campus is best . Students involve in many curricular activities easily.

Good infrastructure. Small Campus but looks very beautiful. It consists Basketball court, Tennis court & football & Cricket Ground also. Library is very helpful for getting knowledge. Canteen is very clean.
Academics
Professors are very intelligent and you will get lot of knowledge from them. Curriculum is good that will help for Government exams like GATE, UPSC, CAT, IES, CDS etc. Professors solves all your doubts.
Placements
Average package is 7 to 8 LPA. For Non core branches average package is 12 to 13 LPA. Around 70 to 80 % students are placed in mechanical. Top recruiters for Mechanical engineering are Hindustan Unilever, L&T,Honda motors, etc.
Value-for-money
43000 Rs for OBC & 80000Rs for open students
Campus Life
In college many events held by Technovanza. For mechanical engineer VJTI racing is best for gaining practical knowledge about Mechanical stream. It is like doing 2 internships in Company

College Infrastructure
Wi-Fi is average. Labs and classrooms are amazing, and the library is speechless. The mess is outstanding. The hostel for first-year is not that good, but it gets good in the second year. Food in the mess is amazing as well as the food in the college canteen is also amazing. Medical facilities and sports facilities are very good at our college.
Academics
The teaching staff here is very good as they are much helpful in studies as well as in co-curricular activities. Institute will also help you get internships. The curriculum designed by the institute is many parallels to the exams like UPSC GATE CAT. The institute also conducts classes for GATE.
Placements
Around 70-80% of the students got placed in the mechanical course. The highest package offered was around 9-9.5 LPA. Top roles offered might be senior analysts at consulting firms and senior engineers at Hero and Tata Motors. Top recruiters are Hero, Tata Motors, PwC etc. Internships are offered to everyone because it's compulsory in the course.
Value-for-money
Fees for diploma is 12k per year or so for general category students and if you belong to reserved caste it is quite low.Moreover you get scholarships if you are from reserved category.Overall the fee is less than any other college in mumbai
Campus Life
The campus is not very big but a peaceful place with 16 acres of area, cricket ground,open study space and one football court. Building being constructed in 1887 is not very spacious but historic and somehow,more old fashioned that you will come to know after seeing the design of gates and windows. Mainly 3 entrance gates,one from Mechanical gate,one hostel gate(on the wadala road) and one Main gate(only place where you can read the name of college). Well I assure you one thing, you will be lost

The best thing that happened to me in Mumbai is VJTI. Taking admission to this institute is worth it. Talking about the fests VJTI itself has its own SUNBURN. Also, technical fest Techovanza is one the biggest tech fests in India. The institute also offers various scholarships you just need to apply properly for that.

Good placement is a remarkable attribute as compared to other colleges in the city.Campus is quite big but the college being a bit old can use some rework.The canteen is good the food here is no joke.The taste is great.
Academics
I am studying Textile manufacture as far as i know it is the only college in mumbai where you can study textile diploma or degree.The curriculum is upto the mark i guess the only complain i have is the labs are a bit outdated.
Placements
Placements are quite good for B.Tech almost everyone gets a job in campus interview.Cant say anything about placements in diploma as due to corona its being delayed will let you know once i get placed.
Value-for-money

My college Infrastructure is commendable. The institute was founded in 1887 and keeping that in mind the institute is well maintained and has shown development. The campus is cleaned and maintained by college workers. The college library has been renovated recently and has grown bigger. We also have well equipped labs. The classes have projectors because of which the teaching - learning experience becomes easy. The canteen has affordable and clean food. There are 4 hostels in the campus too.
Academics
The teachers in our college are very good at their job and are well experienced. The teachers consider students to be intelligent and expect a lot from students. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University and is autonomous college. The environment is quite good and the senoirs are helpful.
Placements
VJTI gives one of the best placements results across the state. Almost all students get placed in good companies. Even during Covid pandemic on student got 44 lakhs package from Microsoft .More than 200 companies visit for placement and internships.
Value-for-money
The college fees is Rs84 K which is pretty good. There are various scholarships available too to the students from government and other organizations. The facilities I get is far more worth than the fees paid.
Campus Life
There are many clubs : Technical , cultural , non-cultural which provide platform for every kind of person. The college is very near to the Matunga railway station and many transportation modes are available for students.

You would definately enjoy your 4 years of life here. The college has a reputed name and students maintain this legacy.

Our college have all the necessary facilities and Infrastructure that an engineering college should have. The classroom have white board,green board, and a samsung smart board also a projector in each class. Laboratories and libraries are well equipped. We have a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court. Hostels are also very good, they have better good than the canteen. And all of these are well maintained
Academics
I am studying btech in electrical engineering. The teachers are very professional and knowledgable. First year is not even near the qualities that a job require. Like any other colleges here also pointer decides the placements

Recently the placements for electronic engineering students have increased very well. And the average salary offered to each branch was about 7 to 8 lakh. The placements have been improving since last few years
Campus Life
The college campus is best specially the quadrangle (basketball court) which is near canteen. The canteen is awesome with all walls painted with very innovative arts which students repaints with various different themes every year

The college has proper equipment to carry out experiments. Added to this the new library is one of the best places to visit and study at, individual study space is maintained. Canteen food as always is awesome and at low prices.
Academics
Me as studying civil engineering from the professors have been learning a lot. They explain properly. Teachers do discuss about the latest happenings around the world and new projects coming up. There is a proper student teacher interaction.
Placements
VJTI never goes off placement specially for comps and IT branches. For civil branches companies like TCs and LnT offer jobs. The placement process in our college has always been easy. To helps us anytime with queries we have.

The Civil, Mechanical, and Production classrooms are air conditioned and well furnished. The library and auditorium have been recently renovated and are state-of-the-art. The college has first class research labs such as "The Centre of Excellence in Complex and Nonlinear Dynamical Systems" and "The Internet of Things Lab". The student hostels need improvement; recently, the management has started revamping the infra. The canteen has an excellent repertoire, a face-lift is awaited.
Academics
I am studying Civil Engineering. Many of the faculty are senior, experienced and highly reputed in their area of work, providing consultation in major govt infrastructure projects. These senior faculty members are very strict and keep students on their toes. The newer faculty members are mostly contractual and the best of them generally leave in a year, which is a handicap. The curriculum needs revision to include the latest trends and training in the latest software packages used in practice.
Placements
The quality of placements depend heavily on the branch, with CS / IT branches having nearly 90% placed with the best packages (avg 13 lpa).The highest package was 37 lpa (INR) by Rakuten(Japan) this time. Placements in other branches are about 50% (avg 6-9 lpa). Companies/firms visiting campus include Amazon,Samsung,Morgan Stanley,IBM,Futures First,Airtel,Deloitte,PWC,Larsen&Toubro,Siemens,Aker Solutions,Burns&McDonnells. On the other hand some pursue their PG/entrepreneurship/Govt Services.
Value-for-money
To study engineering in as well reputed a college in Mumbai, with all it has to offer at the given cost is a nice bargain! As the institute is state sponsored, the cost of education is comparatively low, being about 68000 per annum, for a general category student. The college also provides several kinds of scholarships to those who need it.
Campus Life
The 16 acre campus, lush with greenery, is a sanctuary within the bustle of the city.There are two large fields (soccer,cricket) and a basketball court.The Debate and Literature Association,Pratibimb (cultural group),Rangvardhan (Marathi cultural Group) and Technovanza (techfest) actively engage students, with even National/International celebrities participating often.Tech-clubs(Aero VJTI, VJTI Racing, SRA) have won accolades internationally. Students get to bond, forging lifelong friendships.
Anything Else
If you have to do Engineering in Mumbai, VJTI is the best, next to IIT B, with a legacy of 133 years and well-placed alumni all over the world. However, join the institute only if you are getting a branch/course of your liking; BTech is a challenging course and so it is important that you enjoy it! You wont be eligible for the hostel if your home is within 100km of the institute. I would recommend this college for its rich all round vibrant experience.

Yes, the college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The living spaces are clean and the cantene is super hygienic. The classrooms are spacious, libraries have all the necessary books.
Academics
I have been a post diploma in automobile engineering. The quality of teaching is purely amazing. It also has a lot of techincal events that take place on a regular basis. The college is simply an all rounder college.
Placements
The placement is one of the best placements in the college campus. The students get placed at a very high rate and the college is itself famous for it. The average salary is 35k per month. I must say that the placement is the best .
Value-for-money
Since it was a 2 year course, the fee was 4 thousand only. The course was really value for money. The course was worth it and it truly builds up students and their career for future. The dreams are truly accomplished.

The college campus again was amazing. The greenery was the main attraction and is still continuing to be the same.

It acts as the Central Technical Institute of Maharashtra.It is AICTE recognised institution. Ranking It is ranked as one of the 20 best engineering colleges of India by the India Today magazine. Infrastructure is kind of old.
Academics
There are two semesters per year as is for all of the engineering colleges. Each semester has a mid term examination and a semester examination the weightage varies but mostly it is 60-20-20. 60 from the semester examination, 20 from internal, and 20 from mid term. Teaching is good.
Placements
Overall it is best package you could get if you are capable enough as it ain't easy to get admission here, there are many who have their dream college as VJTI. You have the opportunity to excel in any field you want.Various multinational companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of students from computer and IT departments are selected in the interviews. Highest pakage was 42 lakh in 2019.
Value-for-money
The fee structure is feasible compared to other engineering colleges. The regular fee is 76000 rupees for general category students, 31500 for OBC category students, 10000 for SC category students. There is an option to pay fee in two installments.

You are informed with the upcoming events in sports. College supports various sports. As i mentioned earlier about the two playgrounds, so you have an in-house facility to practice your sport. You are encouraged to participate in various inter college, department level sports.

Hostel provided by college and that to in college campus only . The hostel vicinity area was very pleasant and covered natural beauty with more greenery . Food served at the hostel was unique and ultimate . In my life until now , i have never ever tested test like our VJTI Hostel mess food . Very delicious and nutritious and health keeping food .
Academics
The course curriculum is good . The reason is that my college is an autonomous college . In my college course subject are most comprised of latest technology and not old technology . They also contain trending subjects .
Placements
Placement is the best positive thing in the college . College provide placement and internship through campus drive held by traning and placement office . They try hard to achive placement and internship . But to achieve them students have to study hard themselve .
Value-for-money
Fees structure is feasible being a government aided college . Fess is around 50k to 60k but worth for being in this college .

College Infrastructure
VJTI is one of the oldest college in India. In the past it was extremely good. But in recent years it's name and value has decreased a bit. The main reason is lack of infrastructure and poor faculty. facilities All facilities are provided but are not upto mark.
Academics
In my opinion, course curriculum is bit old and out of date. It needs to be revised according to new needs in industry. Hardly anything which you learn in curriculum is useful after passing out of college. It fails to prepare us for corporate world. Being autonomous college, exam papers in VJTI are tougher than Mumbai University. There is at least 1 day holiday after each paper. But the exam gets over within 2.5 weeks max.
Placements
Placement process in our college is very good. Nearly 95% of the students from each branch surely get placements. For electronics branch, L&T, Fractal Analytics, PWC, Deloitte (India & US), ZS Associates, these are some of the companies which recruit through campus placements. The highest salary package offered varies from 12-15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies from 4.5-5 LPA. The average salary offered is 6 LPA.
Value-for-money
Very very cheap. Fee for entire year was 65000 for all 4 years. It's almost half of other private colleges in Mumbai. For OBC and other reserved caste, it is even lesser. Apart from that there are scholarships for needy.
Campus Life
VJTI has football, basketball, volleyball and cricket grounds. Along with this carom, chess and Table Tennis are available in Gymkhana. 'Enthusia' is sports fest of VJTI and is quite good and famous. Almost all of the machinery in labs is old and needs replacement.

this college has just fame.there is nothing called as engineering. this college is actully stop for reserved people. the faculty teaching here is very poor in teaching . the hostels are very bad in condition. the just complete their syllabus and set the papers as they have teached iit level syllabi.

This college is good in the sense, it has good courses, reputation, teachers and placements. Toppers come to this university and its the best after IITB in Mumbai. If one has to come to Mumbai and study then he/she can come to VJTI but on their reliability for accomodation. Do not expect good Hostels here. Plus the area is also nt that good and Campus also is not that huge.

My college is a vast campus.This college one of the best technical college in mumbai and it is been graded " AAAA" by Careers 360 in 2016. The college encourages the everyone to undertake lots of research and industrial competitions.It mainly focuses in advanced technology and Robotics too.There are lot of social and cultural activities undertaking in the college.OPPURTUNITIES are lot in this college,not only in automation sector but in automobile too.It has received ranked 3rd worldwide and 5th in the Design Report at the Future Flight Design Competition, Turkey in May 2015, represented by Team Vayuputras.Debates,Literary arts and Entrepreneurship is also at apex.Not only that there are so many cultural festivals,and talking about its campus - It is very good and one of the huge campus.But I think the infrastructure of the  campus should be improved.Other than that the college is amazing and  thus offerings the best OPPORTUNITIES to the studentd and in return the hard  efforts and determination of my collegues are bringing out the laurels and achievements for the college.

vjti is best for placements., studying and most importantly it is popular for its faculty. here teachers main aim is not limited to dissemination of 'information' but also to ensure the (emotional, social and moral) formation of a student. self empowered teacher is capable of improving not only the quality of education but also the quality of education. college life is enjoyable along with studies.

Awesome college life here at VJTI. I have been in this college for almost 2 years now. Never got a feeling of being an outsider. Always felt that I was at home. The canteen of this college, the football ground, the cricket ground, the hostels, all feel like my home, infact better than home.

VJTI is all about studies. U have to study hard. Events are not so cool. But placements are at the top. Students are well deserved and hardworking. 9 to 5 college schedule is hectic sometimes but lectures are worth. Great mob of students. Professors are awesome. Sports are good. Basketball is fun in VJTI.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute(VJTI) is a very prestigious college situated in the heart of Mumbai. It has lived up to its legacy by setting high benchmarks in both education and placement. The faculty is student friendly and approachable.They are very experienced teachers but there are many contractual faculty members as well. The campus is clean and it is a good environment for learning. The industry exposure and placement statistics are excellent with over 200 companies visiting the campus for recruitment. The student crowd is good since VJTI is an elite institution, comparable to the IITs and NITs. The affordability of this college is also fine with scholarships provided for category students. The only problem is the old infrastructure. It needs more maintenance and cleanliness. The hostels are old and need proper renovations to be done and facilities like WiFi should be provided. Also hostel rooms aren't available for all students, they are allotted on merit basis during admissions. That's why many students have to stay outside the campus, which is not very convenient. Hostels are located inside the campus which is very convenient for hostel students. Extra curricular activities are encouraged-from technology to cultural and sports, there is something for everyone. Overall it is very satisfying college experience and studying at VJTI.

VJTI is one of the oldest and the best engineering colleges in india. With 100% placements the college is ranked 2 in Maharashtra. The faculty is good and the environment here is very competitive. It also has hostel facilities. Along with academics other activities are also carried out. Especially the technical fest called Technovanza is a thing to boast about. Among others Technovanza is compared with the IIT Bombay techfest. Overall the college is very good. One can have a very bright future once graduated from here.

Vjti college ,one of the best college among the Maharashtra . When i got admission here i was very scared about studies cause i have herd that engineering is very hard ( it is ) but as the days passes i adjusted with it the faculty i got in first year was best and understandin . Saying about vjti is quite difficult because these experience is just fabulous nd u have to feel it by yourself . Vjti is the very big college in infrastructure nd very good also . The best thing about vjti which i like the most is its Library very large and easy to access . The canteen of the college is also quite impressive . Once you got admission in vjti you will experience the value of engineering and a engineer . It's not the part of the syllabus but with the invironment with get matur and confident . VJTI gives 100℅ placement guarantee so don't worry about future just go and work hard you will definitely get to succeed. Thanks you

Old infrastructure, but updated instruments and knowledge! Teachers gives beyond that bounded syllabus. Each subject has same time for theory as well as practical so student know each thing practically. Also lessons about self development from development of life skills and management. No of events including technovaza, pratibimb, rangvardhan, that gives chance to students to show skills.

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute was given its present title on January 26, 1997. Founded in 1887, it was then known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute. The institute is reputed for excellent training in courses in engineering and technology at diploma and, degree and post graduate levels over three thousand students. Over twenty seven courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, postgraduate diploma and post diploma levels. The institute was granted financial and academic autonomy from June 21, 2004. As a result, the autonomous VJTI has implemented the revised syllabus for the students in June 2004 at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels by implementing much valued credit system. The revised scheme of examinations, which follows a grading system and letter grade point system has been implemented. An important part of curriculum is the practically oriented project at the final year of graduation and the dissertations offered by the postgraduate students, as also the in-plant training undergone by the Third Year Diploma students. Significant changes under autonomy are the setting up of Distance Education Programmes with IIT with VJTI as a Remote Centre; as also the modernization of the Library to a digital library. Mention must be made that postgraduate students may see the journals online throughout the week, with facility for printing. Under the World Bank grant - TEQIP - the institute has several projects underway to establish itself as a world class technological institute. The modernization will offer excellent central computing facilities to students, who will also have access to improved laboratory and workshop facilities. The faculty at the institute is recognized for its Testing and Consultancy work. Realizing the potential of the institute, reputed industries have sponsored laboratories - for instance, the high voltage laboratory, courtesy Siemens; and the Computational Fluid Dynamics laboratory, courtesy B.A.R.C.

When I firstly entered college I got many helpful n cute friends. we all friends enjoy a lot. Next thing is infrastructure that I found some what less maintained. But still we like quad, canteen, study space of our college where we find ourselves more comfortable there. old faculty in our college is v good. Placements here are better.I find here many of my seniors get placed at good level.Hostels here I found ecofrndly . Always birds make their nests in washroom n enters in our room that is more troubling.overall hostel life is good.

I really enjoyed collage life a lot, infrastructure not as expected, some faculties are need to be change, placements are great, quantity of books must increase, hostel focus on basic needs, somewhere faculties do whatever they want to do is really bad experience.
