Yes, vjti has all the infrastructure required. It has a great campus which is located in the heart of Mumbai with state-of-the-art lab equipment and a brand new library. It has a good canteen and the only con is that is has a small campus of 22 acres only
One of the pros that sets vjti apart from other mu colleges is that it is an autonomous institute. So the syllabus is updated every year according to the demand in industries and helps in attracting many companies.
The placement is the thing that vjti matches with some of the top NITS in India. The highest package of 58lpa offered by Google and the placement process is simply amazing in vjti. The TPO is very helpful and tries to see that every student is placed.
Being a government-funded institute the fees of vjti is less compared to other institutes in Mumbai and its worth every penny.

As I'm a student from Electrical Engg., our branch contains all necessary equipment for labs and research works. Our college contains both older and latest equipment, with the former giving a better understanding of the internal structure and development in the latest models and the latter giving exposure to the latest industrial machines. Facilities given by the college are fully utilized by the students and are well maintained. The campus is cleaned and green. Canteen food is tasty & heathy.
Pursuing Electrical Engg. the quality of teaching from the well experienced, having industrial exposure and huge knowledge of the subject creates an interest in the subject and passionate us. Our curriculum contains subjects including the recent developments in the field like Electric vehicles, Industrial IoT, etc. It helps us to understand the upcoming trend in the field and aware us about the recent technologies used by them which ultimately makes us ready for the job.
The placement of our college is exceptionally great! Talking about all the streams, approximately 40% of the students get placed. The highest package of the previous year was 58 LPA(CTC) at Google and the average package was around 7-8 LPA which was a great achievement for our TPO as the placement got boost this year.
As compared to other affiliated colleges our college being government aided costs low per year. The content and courses offered under this money are of great worth. Also, the industrial exposure gave through seminars arranged by the faculties or organizations of the college is very useful and informative. The boost to research-oriented work given by our college encourages the student in this field to gain more knowledge and contribute to society.
Students can engage in various organizations like Technovanza(Technical fest), Enthusia(Sport fest), etc. This provides exposure to personality development and improves ourselves. Faculties and staff are very supportive and they encourage us to take part in the events and get exposure to some managerial work. These events take place on the campus itself with all kinds of safety measures and to handle emergencies.
As our college is autonomous, every field is encouraged by the people and for the people. Organizations like SRA(Robotics) and Research labs(CDRC, COE, etc) provide a various opportunity for the student to develop and enhance their skills through their smart work, publish conference paper and provides an opportunity to the overall development of its student. According to my opinion, my college is the best technical college in Mumbai
College have a vintage infrastucture. Classrooms are huge and air conditioned.Library is huge having a vast collection of books. Hostels are there with huge playgrounds. Students have a free internet facility at internet labs.Canteen are hygienic and provide food items at cheap costs.
Course is highly base on practical knowledge. Faculty is highly experienced and helping. Quality of teaching is excellent in this college. Curriculum is highly updated and revised and includes recent developments in fields and is highly industrial oriented.
Quality of placements in VJTI is excellent. Various companies like L&T,TOYO,Mahindra,Afcons,Tata Motors, etc visited for campus interview.Around 50% of students were placed in campus interview with salary package of 2-3 LPA
Course cost per year around 10000 Rupees.Various government scholarships are also provided in this college for students.
College campus is huge.Various Events, Guest lectures and Exhibitions are organised at big level in this college. College teachers and staff is highly supportive. College is located at very hygienic area of Matunga surrounded with Don bosco school and ICT college Mumbai.
VJTI is the best Engineering college in Mumbai offering excellent quality of education after IITs.
Infrastructure is okish as compared to brand. Improvement can be done on hostels and classrooms. Some building's are quite old and need renovation. Sports facility like gymkhana is open of limited hour's.
Academics are quite outdated except few courses like AI and ML rest most of the syllabus is same from many decades. Machines in practical lab are very old. There is state of the art LnT lab where engineers from Navy come for training.
Placements are above average as compared to other state level clgs. Average salary is well above 5 lakhs and highest above 20 lakhs. Dedicated Training and placement office with huge Hall to accommodate 200+ students for company presentation.
For category student's it's always value for money same is the case here. But even for open category students fees is quite on lower side as compared to peers.
We had the worst director at our times so campus life was quite dull. Restrictions and Orthodox nature of the clg faculty makes one feel like studying in school or in 19th century college.
The college have great brand value in Industry. Many reputed companies come for hiring. Students are the real strength of the college. Most of the faculty is temporary which is quite worrying factor. Overall the college is great.
My college has one of the best infrastructure. It's infrastructure is old. But it has all new technical facilities. There's is projector in college, which makes learning easy. Labs are also best. Campus is always clean. Yes food is hygienic and taste is also good. There are 4 hostel in college. College also has WiFi and white board facilities.
Teachers are intelligent and there's best teaching staff in college. Both teachers and seniors are very helpful. Yes curriculum is updated and it's very useful according to placement point of view. As I am Electronics and Telecommunication First Year student, this branch is best according placement in both hardware and software field.
According to placement, college is best. CS, IT, EXTC, Mechanical Engineering branches have 100% placement and remaining branch have more 90% placement. 2021 ongoing placement is 44 lpa offered by Microsoft, 37 lpa offered by Udaan, etc. In overall college placement, average salary offered is 8.10 lpa. Yes the placement process easy and pleasant. College is most supportive in placement.
College fee is 84k per year for open category. 43k per year obc category. There's are many scholarships offered by college so that none of the students facing financial problem in study.
College is at Matunga, Mumbai which is main area near to Dadar. Yes it's safe area and pleasant too. Campus is best . Students involve in many curricular activities easily.

Average package is 7 to 8 LPA. For Non core branches average package is 12 to 13 LPA. Around 70 to 80 % students are placed in mechanical. Top recruiters for Mechanical engineering are Hindustan Unilever, L&T,Honda motors, etc.

Wi-Fi is average. Labs and classrooms are amazing, and the library is speechless. The mess is outstanding. The hostel for first-year is not that good, but it gets good in the second year. Food in the mess is amazing as well as the food in the college canteen is also amazing. Medical facilities and sports facilities are very good at our college.
The teaching staff here is very good as they are much helpful in studies as well as in co-curricular activities. Institute will also help you get internships. The curriculum designed by the institute is many parallels to the exams like UPSC GATE CAT. The institute also conducts classes for GATE.
Around 70-80% of the students got placed in the mechanical course. The highest package offered was around 9-9.5 LPA. Top roles offered might be senior analysts at consulting firms and senior engineers at Hero and Tata Motors. Top recruiters are Hero, Tata Motors, PwC etc. Internships are offered to everyone because it's compulsory in the course.

The campus is not very big but a peaceful place with 16 acres of area, cricket ground,open study space and one football court. Building being constructed in 1887 is not very spacious but historic and somehow,more old fashioned that you will come to know after seeing the design of gates and windows. Mainly 3 entrance gates,one from Mechanical gate,one hostel gate(on the wadala road) and one Main gate(only place where you can read the name of college). Well I assure you one thing, you will be lost
The best thing that happened to me in Mumbai is VJTI. Taking admission to this institute is worth it. Talking about the fests VJTI itself has its own SUNBURN. Also, technical fest Techovanza is one the biggest tech fests in India. The institute also offers various scholarships you just need to apply properly for that.
Good placement is a remarkable attribute as compared to other colleges in the city.Campus is quite big but the college being a bit old can use some rework.The canteen is good the food here is no joke.The taste is great.
I am studying Textile manufacture as far as i know it is the only college in mumbai where you can study textile diploma or degree.The curriculum is upto the mark i guess the only complain i have is the labs are a bit outdated.
Placements are quite good for B.Tech almost everyone gets a job in campus interview.Cant say anything about placements in diploma as due to corona its being delayed will let you know once i get placed.

There are lot of options for extracurricular activities.You are always encouraged to the college even provides funds for it.The labs are a bit old but everything you need is available so cant complain.

My college Infrastructure is commendable. The institute was founded in 1887 and keeping that in mind the institute is well maintained and has shown development. The campus is cleaned and maintained by college workers. The college library has been renovated recently and has grown bigger. We also have well equipped labs. The classes have projectors because of which the teaching - learning experience becomes easy. The canteen has affordable and clean food. There are 4 hostels in the campus too.
The teachers in our college are very good at their job and are well experienced. The teachers consider students to be intelligent and expect a lot from students. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University and is autonomous college. The environment is quite good and the senoirs are helpful.
VJTI gives one of the best placements results across the state. Almost all students get placed in good companies. Even during Covid pandemic on student got 44 lakhs package from Microsoft .More than 200 companies visit for placement and internships.
The college fees is Rs84 K which is pretty good. There are various scholarships available too to the students from government and other organizations. The facilities I get is far more worth than the fees paid.
There are many clubs : Technical , cultural , non-cultural which provide platform for every kind of person. The college is very near to the Matunga railway station and many transportation modes are available for students.
You would definately enjoy your 4 years of life here. The college has a reputed name and students maintain this legacy.
Our college have all the necessary facilities and Infrastructure that an engineering college should have. The classroom have white board,green board, and a samsung smart board also a projector in each class. Laboratories and libraries are well equipped. We have a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court. Hostels are also very good, they have better good than the canteen. And all of these are well maintained
I am studying btech in electrical engineering. The teachers are very professional and knowledgable. First year is not even near the qualities that a job require. Like any other colleges here also pointer decides the placements
Recently the placements for electronic engineering students have increased very well. And the average salary offered to each branch was about 7 to 8 lakh. The placements have been improving since last few years
The college campus is best specially the quadrangle (basketball court) which is near canteen. The canteen is awesome with all walls painted with very innovative arts which students repaints with various different themes every year

MNNIT Cut off marks for CSE branch is around 230 in general category outside quota and the final rank is 3626. If you are aiming for top NITs, your rank should be less than 10,000. However, newer NITs accept candidates with a rank greater than 70,000 in JEE Main.

There is no Institute / Management quota in any of the program in VJTI Mumbai..
MHT-CET entrance is the primary requirement for which students need to apply online only..
The difficulty level of questions will be comparable to JEE . You should have strong hold on each of topics related to the subjects mentioned above.To get admission in VJTI you should score atleast 180+ marks out of 200 for general category.
