The MHT-CET, or Maharashtra Common Admission Test, is an annual entrance exam held by the Maharashtra government. The Directorate of Technical Education is in charge of the event. This entrance exam focuses mostly on degree programmes in the following fields: Engineering\Pharmacy

Previously, test scores were also used to determine eligibility for medical school admissions. MHT-CET has been phased out of medical college admissions after the Supreme Court of India mandated that only NEET be used for undergraduate medicine admissions across the country. For the first time in 2019, the test will be administered online. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has issued the Computer Based Test syllabus and marking methodology (CBT).

Eligibility criteria :-

All aspirants with Indian nationality who have passed or appeared in the qualifying examination, i.e. HSC/12th Standard examination or its equivalent examination, are eligible to take the MHT CET. There is no upper age limit for MHT-CET 2021.

All aspirants who have passed/ appeared in the qualifying examination that is HSC /12 th standard examination or it's equivalent examination and having Indian Nationality are eligible for MH-CET,

There is no age limit.

(Outside Maharashtra students can also appear for MH-CET but they will not be eligible for government or government aided college, they will be eligible for All India seats of private colleges.
