Companies like NISSAN, L&T, JIO and many other big companies like TCS, Bosch, and Wipro also hired a good amount of students. Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from6 Lakh to 10 Lakh.Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 23 years. It is a well deserving institute for candidates securing rank between5000 to 15000.

Coding culture is as par with old iiits like IIIT Allahabad, Gwalior and good nits. More than 70% students clearing starting round of CODE JAM conducted byGOOGLE.

Most important point is that no other new iiits have got their permanent campus except few. ButIIIT Kottayamhave got its campus from 20182019 session, again beating others.
