For the calculation of the KCET rank, half of the weightage will be assigned to KCET marks, while the other half will be based on the board marks.
The KCET ranking is determined by considering 50% of your board marks from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. For example, if you scored 80%, then 50% of your board marks would be 40%. The remaining 50% is calculated from your KCET marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, which is then added to the 40%. For instance, if you scored 70%, then 50% of this would be 35%. Your final ranking is calculated based on your total average score, which is 40% + 35% = 75%.
