Its a semigovernment college under uptu. It is good. But placement is little bad. But you can go for it because faculties are good which matters.

You need not to worry....it's a good college with average placement records but for ECE branch placement records is good
.....you can take admission there....and study hard......best of luck for your future!!....

ECE at is more or less average! The Electronics department has an intake of 180 ( 120 seats for Electronics Engineering and 60 seats for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering ) , the subjects and course curriculum of both the branches had been similar till now.

Now to answer How better is Electronics ? part, from what I have experienced in the past two years of college let me tell you very frankly the labs are not up to the mark and most of your queries may remain unanswered provided you have got some really good teaching assistants. At the end of semesters you will end up copying the whole lab journals in one night.
