Hello aspirant,

It depends upon your potential and how you can explore it.

In IITs you will find almost all branches of engineering but in most of the IIITs you will find CSE,IT and Electronics Engineering /Electrical & Electronics, etc.

Both IITs & IIITs are renowned institutes, but fact remains that preference of most of the aspirants go to IITs and one more important factor I should apprise that IITs are funded by Central Government whereas IIITs fall under the ambit of PPP(Public Private Partnership).

It is worth mentioning that IIIT Hyderabad is regarded as good as any IIT so far CSE is concerned.

After all it depends on you, If you work hard you can achieve success from any institutions but if you don't neither IIT nor IIIT can help.

Hope it helps you..

Best of luck..
