Hello,

You may get a seat in a NIT depending upon in which category you lie. As the cut off in not released yet hence relying of the previous year cut off, Cutt off for NIT's for JEE would approximately be:

GENERAL- 115- 85

OBC- 80- 45

SC- 60- 40

ST- 50-40

This is just a tentative list drafted by experts. All is subject to change depending upon:

1)The number of candidates appearing in the entrance exam

2)Total applications received for the programme to which candidate has sought admission

3)Total available seats

4)Difficulty level of the exam

5)The category under which admission is sought

You can go through the previous year data to find an approx cut off:

Hello Aspirant.
It is difficult to predict the college . the official cutoff will be released on the month of April after the second exam of jEE mains is conducted.
.
Use this formula to predict the rank:
  • Rank Formula = (100 - your total score) X 874469 /100.
  • Your expected rank is 262340 by using above formula
Your rank may differ from the official cutoff and results which were released on the month of April by national testing agency NTA officially.
You have to wait for the official results.if you want to compare with previous years cutoff of nits.you can go through the below link:
.

I would like to suggest you that give attempt to April exam because if you get more than 90+ percentile score in April exam there are more chances to get top nits
.
If you have any questions further let me know.
.
Thank you!!!

Hello rishi

Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for colleges of JEE mains and for jee advance based on percentile. You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.With this rank, you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting and also the advance cut off.But remember this is not the final rank.It will change based on the april session of mains. To further predict colleges visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor  .Hope this helps.

Good Luck
