Undoubtedly IIT Kanpur Chemical. Even if youre inclined towards CSE or Computational Subjects, youll have enough opportunities at IITK Campus which will expose you and develop your interests. Opportunities range from Core Chemical, Data Science, Software, Finance, Consulting besides a Top 5 IIT Tag, Excellent Faculty and Infrastructure and Vibrant Campus Experience.

Sahil Gala Chemical Engineering has strong Prospects comparable to Mechanical. Secondly Lower IITs are nowhere near IIT Kanpur. Opportunities will be 100x. Choose Mechanical if at any of the Top 5-7 IITs not otherwise.

Sahil Gala Dont go for Dual Degree in any Non Main stream Branch, youll end up wasting an extra year. IITK Chemical is fine. If youre interested in Dual Degree, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics these are good branches for Pursuing Dual.
