Hi Shoukath. I think trying for IIT or NIT is better. Because when you have that brand your job packages will be very high.At the same time I am not telling that you will not be getting good job packages in vit.You will definitely get them,but we cannot compare them with NIT or IIT'S brand.

Moreover it depends on you,if you think that you can get on in NIT or IIT with upcoming competition  in next coming year's then you can try with them.
