The Answer depends what are you expecting to achieve with the M.Tech in Renewable Degree.

Placement- Hardly any placement for M.Tech in Renewable Degree
PhD - Quite good chances of getting an admission in PhD after the degree completion.
Can get into private/government research organisations as a JRF , research scholar etc.
Mostly M.Tech students try for Government jobs while they pursue the degree so if one is interested in doing so one can surely try.

Signal Processing and Control branch :

The placement is okay. Through this you can also go for research and government jobs.
