Disability Act. (PwD) 1995 which states that the hearing disabled person is one who has a hearing loss of 60 dB HL or more in the better ear for conversational range of frequencies. There are differen categories based on the percentage of hearing disability. You can get a certificate issued based on that.

If you have a Disability Certificate issued by one of the disability assessment boards as listed below you can claim pwd quota.
