Following is the list of opening and closing rank of ACMS under various categories in the year 2017
Open rank. Closing rank

Army category. 5638 (578marks) 19614(519marks)
Defence cat. 33446(425marks). 457348(155marks)
St/SC. 43304(460marks). 173075(301marks)

The army category involves the wards of both serving personals and the ex-serviceman, there are various priorities according to which admission is done.
The defence involves the other forces i.e. indian air force and indian navy.
