Hello,

AP EAMCET is a state level entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering and medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
The actual rank is the state rank i.e. 24018 will be considered as your eamcet state rank for admission into engineering colleges.
The local and category rank is the rank which specifies your position in your group in EAMCET. The local rank is the rank that you hold among the people of your region. For example, if you belong to AU region your local rank will help you to know your position among the candidates of your region.

As your rank is above 15k you may not get into AU because the cutoff ranks for any branch and category are below 15k. Hope this helps you.

I am sorry rakesh but based on your rank and reservation you cannot get any branch in Andhra University. Yes, Based on the category you will have some reservation so that you can get into better colleges.

They will consider your general category rank which is  24018. But, the cutoffs are different for each and every caste.

For example-cutoff ranks of CSE branch in Andhra university caste wise

  • OC-931
  • BC A-950
  • BC B- 1155
  • BC C- 931
  • BC D- 931
  • BC E-931
  • SC-3840
  • ST-11571
So the seats are alloted basing on your rank and caste reservation.
