After Master's Degree, you can apply for SET/NET, qualifying these exam you can become assistant professor and it's pay package is quite good, also if you qualify JRF you'll get stipends on a regular basis,

You can apply for government jobs such as UPSC, SSC CGL, State PSCs, banking exams like SBI/IBPS PO, RBI Grade B, Nabard Grade B etc or insurance exams like GIC, LIC, NIACL etc.
