Sir, is it compulsory to include physics in my best 4 subjects for bsc (h) chem? Can i take informatics practices instead of physics?

Hello Baliyan, No, It's not compulsory to include physics in your best of four subjects. You need to follow the following rule for calculating the best of four subjects: English+subject you are taking admission in+best two from list A. You might need to include maths if you are dropping physics.

But i have read that from this year ,it is compulsory to take pcm in best 4??

There is no such official announcement. You need one language subject(English in your case), subject you are taking admission in( chemistry) and 2 subjects from list A subjects( information practices come under list A + you need maths as the last subject in case you don't want physics).
