Your category rank is good but not enough to fetch mechanical engineering branch in bit sindri.

For BC 2 category rank students normally a cml  rank of about 750 is stable.
But you can surely get other branches like mining engineering, metallurgical engineering, production engineering, chemical engineering in bit sindri.
