Yes both the campuses differ a lot.PES university is autonomous (seperate university) whereas PESIT south campus is affiliated with VTU.

Viyan Kulkarni For future candidates .From 2021 vtu is going to make some changes in its syllabus and they are going to go with iit and nit syllabus so vtu will get better than it's past version whose syllabus were far more old than the current technology and studies..
