College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is good , they provide all essentials for students. Most important drawback of PES south Campus was lack of research rooms for each department , but i think they have started working out for this problem.
Academics
I am pursuing BE in Electronics and communication , currently i am in 8th semester . Teachers in each department are good , they are hardworking , they give lots of time for each course. Current curriculum of this college is too good than other private colleges in India. Courses are updated time to time according to latest technologies evolving in world.
Placements
Best thing about this college is placement . Placement is very good for CSE,IT,ECE , almost all big companies visited our campus this year and around 160 companies visited our campus this year. Highest package was 50lpa INR (Atlassian) , average salary is between 6.5-8.5 lpa INR .
Value-for-money
Now PES is deemed university , it's not affiliated with any other university. According to the new curriculum of PES for BE the course cost per year is little higher. Course cost per year PESSAT students is 3.3 lakhs per , for management quota its 6-7 lakhs nad for KCET it is around 60-70k per year .
Campus Life
If you are joining this college for just having fun all the time. The campus is located inside the city and all the facilities you can think is available at that location . Best thing about PES South Campus is that it is just 1 km before electronic city , you get to explore all the companies in electronic city. Worst feature of campus is that it is not a big one, you will get limited facility to enjoy your college life , but if you are in city like Bangalore then i don't think it's a problem.
Anything Else
Management was not good before , but now they have improved a lot , now they have started understand the problems of students.

College Infrastructure
PESIT is situqted 1 km before electronic city which is the hub of Information Technology companies. Infrastructure wise, PESIT consists of all the required amenities needed in any college, including gymnasium, cricket ground, football ground, auditorium, etc.
Academics
Academical wise PESIT is the best college one could get. PESIT is now autonomous and have their oen curriculum with the main focus given to subjects useful in industries. Every faculty have doctrait of their own, hence one need not have to worry about academics here.
Placements
The best thing about this college is placement only. This college provides 200% placement, which means everyone can have maximum of 2 offers. Talking about my batch, more than 50 percent of my classmate have package above 10 lakh, and more than 90 percent have package above 7 lakh.

College Infrastructure
Its not that bad there r 4 branxhes totally so each branches has their own importance. Compared to other pes college in Bangalore it is bad like the teaching staff is better in main campus.hostels or living spaces are clean but its quite expensive as it costs 1.5lakh per annum foe the hostel.
Academics
U can get so many platforms to show ur creativity.and from this year the curriculum is good as it is autonomous.quality of teaching is not bad not so good. But they are so strict with attendance. For preparing for the placements you should not restrict yourself to the textbook.
Placements
Placements r quite good.average salary will be 5 to 10lakh/annum.if you are quite good you can go up to to 25 lakhs .and both campuses placements will be held in main campus only as there is no separation .
Value-for-money
It depends on person
Campus Life
As a day scholar the campus life is very busy schedule
Anything Else
Overall its a good clg if u ignore something like attendance

The college is nice with best infrastructure facilities. There is a lot of scope for academic activities. If you are studious, believe me it's the right place for you. There is not much importance given to other co curricular activities though the college do organise some events where in you can really enjoy. The faculties are really good and many of them are easily approachable. There are no hangouts near college and the college is a bit too strict. Also the college doesn't give more holidays. The hostel facilities and canteen is also nice. You can expect good placement opportunities here. I would definitely suggest you to get into this college.....

Dayananda Sagar university has shown a phenomenal growth and is on its way to become one of top engineering college in india and worldwide. I’m currently pursuing my B.tech in CSE at dsu. Excellent administration, excellent quality faculty and students, phenomenal placements(backed by DSI) and various workshops and competitions organised helps student gain all the required skills to be industry ready. And most important part or backbone of this university is INNOVATION.

It is the students which makes PESIT BSC a really good college. Most of the faculty are good. I can say that they are better than other VTU colleges. As others have already mention this, PESIT BSC will be having combined placement with PESIT Main Campus.PESIT Main Campus is 1/2 ranking college in Bangalore. So don’t worry for getting a job.

in this college you have to have to study or better say learn things by heart. From the first year itself you wont get time to do anything else then muggig things up and doing assignments. Heard from seniors that you wont get enough time for internship or out of the box knowledge. Till now its going good and crowd is competitive.

I would like to start talking about my college with due respect to the reputed institution. Let me first tell you that this college is vtu based and follows all norms and regulations from the vtu. This is not an autonomous college or a deemed university. There are only 4 core branches of engineering, Cse, Ise, Ece and Mechanical engineering. My first opinion about this college is that it is a very much school environment. And a few reasons supporting it would be the fixed timing and a little too strictly followed attendance requirement. Talking about the negatives first I would say fests, cultural activities, sports tournaments and the ' typical 'pre assumed college environment ' does take a back seat here. Timing of our college is from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. But also let me remind you that our college works for only 5 days a week so yeah college from 8 a.m.to 3:30 p.m is not an much of an issue. The timetable is not hectic at all with 7 periods every day and sufficient long breaks for snacks and lunch. Now talking about the infrastructure, we have 2 buildings which pretty much have everything I.e. classrooms and labs. The classrooms are of sufficient size with decent pretty well maintained benches and lots of cupboards as furniture. All the classrooms are very well illuminated with big black boards as a standard in all classrooms. All classrooms have working projectors which are efficiently used by our faculties. A good cricket field, 2 basketball courts , ample of space for parking and good well equipped labs. The library is also very spacious and open till late evenings everyday. There are 2 canteens which offer a good variety of dishes everyday and fresh juices as well. There is a small xerox shop in the building which trust me is very important for everyday use in emergency situations for notes, etc. Now speaking about the professors which I believe is the most important part of any institution. ALL professors here are not only good in their respective subjects but also most of them are pursuing their higher education and doctorates. I personally feel this is a major plus point. Most of the teachers here appreciate your questions and provide the best support we can get as students. Next talking about the crowd which is a very vital part of the 4 year life. The crowd here is a mixture of North and south indian students. (No I am not dividing our country into parts but just referring to the variety of Indians.) Most of the students here have chosen this college for the pretty much same reason and that is placement. ( This is what we have heard from our seniors in college and students who have graduated from other institutions as well.) This clearly proves that you have a very good competitive crowd who are all wanting to be career oriented. The location of the college yes is a little out of city(electronic city) but definitely not very far. Also I would like to mention about the college bus facility at a very affordable price. Yes the connectivity of college busses are very much commendable as they connect most of the locations in bangalore. I would also like to mention that there are additional skill development classes as well for every semister students which are a part of our timetable. They are very much informative and will definitely be of much importance for the higher semisters before placements. Overall academically this is one of the finest institutions in bangalore to pursue your engineering. Please note that I am in second semister and all this is my personal opinion from the last 6 month's experiences. I have not mentioned anything about my department as we have not yet entered our particular department. 1st year in general is science and humanities department so I have only mentioned about the general aspects. I believe I have covered most the general aspects of this instruction. Thank you all for patiently going through the review.

Amazing infrastructure with well equipped library and laboratory. Teaching staff are helpful. Loads of different workshops are held every semester. Special additional skill development classes are held during class hours. There are many after school tech clubs which function after 3:30. Parking lot is provided but one has to pay for each day. College buses are sufficient for day scholars. Food available in canteen is good and cheap. Classes start very early at 8:00 am and end around 3:30. But you get Saturday's off. A really amazing college which stands imparts education for real life obstacles.

As a student exposure to the educative world is too good in our college. Faculties are excellent.... Most of the seniors are of the opinion that job opportunities are good in this college. Teachers are very comfortable with us and are ready to spend the whole day clearing our doubts. Labs are not so spacious but apart from that it's the best college. The best part of our college is that our principal and CEO of our college also spends there precious time by teaching us. Overall it's the best college...

Infrastructure is good with a huge cricket and football ground. Parking spaces are provided but the only problem for those who come by public transport is that they have to walk for about 15 minutes from the gate to reach the interior of college. There are college fests each odd semester and activity day during even semester which are all student organized. Plus there are lots of workshops related to CSE, ISE, and ECE. They also provide Additional Skill Development classes during the normal class hours for students. The Boys Hostel is on Campus, where as the Girls Hostel and the first year boys’ hostel is about 5kms away. Almost 60% of students are from out of Bangalore, with 40% almost from other states. The tuition fee is reasonable and affordable. The college professors are helpful and encourage you to try different projects. There isn't a lot of time during semester holidays as the college starts earlier than the VTU prescribed time, so one can't join any internship programs, but you get Saturdays off. There is also a blood drive every year for donation of blood for red-cross. The Canteen food is alright and reasonable. The Best one is the Canteen behind APU building. The college has about 13 buses which cover almost all the areas around Bangalore. So day scholars need not worry about Transport. There are also many Technical Clubs which are after college hours. Plus there is also a social welfare group called "Sankalp-We Care" where students go to orphanages, clean public places, and help others. In the end, it is a good college if one knows how to make good use of the facilities it provides.

In this college, some faculties are extremely nice making the subject interesting enough and inquisitive at the same time completing the syllabus. But some just cone with projector start reading it and make it drowsy.Actually we are not taught new things like technical and soft skills in order to develop our real life problem solving abilities till now.Hope the college provides the same in near future!!

Faculties are good and mostly supporting Food is better than most other colleges(hostel) The office is rude. Extremely strict. High academic standards. Extremely good for placements. Labs are good. Extracurricular activities are less compared to others. Pros:- 1. Good placement, even if you are stupid you'll get a job, 2. Good faculties, extremely supporting and young, 3. Hostel food, 4. Canteens are good, so you have options if you do not like the hostel food, 5. Saturdays are off, so you get a long weekend Cons:- 1. Timings, 2. The office is a bit extra rude, 3. Sporting and cultural activities are less, 4. College fee is high.

The college is not a much big area but the branches are only four here. If u r in Cs/is u will love the college life and esp placements.the hostel is good but the mess food is bad. College life is too much disciplined and they focus on academics. U will get many opportunities to prove ur talent if u r already good in it. All the best

The faculty is horrible. There are a few teachers who are good. Most teachers don't have the knowledge about the subject they teach. College is very inflexible about requests and needs. It's worse than a school with all these enforced rules and they do not encourage sports and other extracurricular activities. All they want is for people to study like robots all the time. Barely get good semester break. That means no time for you to do your internships if you're interested in doing it. And then they ask you to build a good resumé without giving us to time or means to do that. You cannot bunk for your internships because they also want 85% attendance and they will most definitely detain you if yours is below that. They will also take as much money as they possibly can from your pocket. You miss the first day of college after everything semester break and they will charge you 5000Rs for every day you miss. So choose one, attendance or resumè. Say goodbye to your dreams and hopes thinking college life will be so relaxed. Because this is not college. This is a jail. All you can hope for is somehow managing to get through the 4 years. And also save as many people as you can from making the same mistakes you made. People if you have time, get out now before its too late.

The college is great when it comes to education but the lack of industrial exposure for the core branches brings slight disappointment. Placement for core companies is mediocre and it would be difficult for any college to guarantee one in core. The crowd is friendly and the faculty is kind of chilled out. More focus is given to education than to any other activities.

To begin with, the college is really good for people who want to study. It's not at all for people with the mindset that college means 'all play and no work'! It has its own fun for people who can find fun in what they are taught and beyond. It has a lot of good faculties who are experienced, good natured, whose sole interest is their students'success. Talking about the college facilities the college has well maintained labs, research labs, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, and indoor game facilities as well. The college fests aren't that great. Just normal. My experience has been pretty good till now. I am in the second year. The teachers are really good at their work. Almost everyone is successful in getting through to the students. Many are researchers as well so it's really good for students who want to go forward in this field The seniors are helpful too. Everyone encourages everyone to go forward with any interest that one has. Just one drawback is that the college is really hectic in its schedule Finally, I had like to conclude on a positive note that the institution has really good facilities and its worth joining.

Infrastructure is the best in any Bangalore college, placements are good, so is the crowd. Teachers are experienced and highly qualified , most of them hold master's degrees. Plenty of eating options , 4 canteens on campus . Lots of space for parking , sports etc. Good placements . Bus transport facilities are also available . Close by to electronic city. College is strict when it comes to discipline and the general following of rules . Very strict on attendance . Good college to pursue your engineering .

PESIT south campus is one of the best college in India. Being located in IT capital of India, Bangalore , college gives you ample opportunity for placement in reputed companies. On a personal note, I really enjoyed my college life. College is located in outskirts of the city and has the very good infrastructure. The faculty is very helpful. Boys, Hostel provided inside the campus is very clean and ventilated. About Mess food , I am not sure about now but during our time it was great food compare to other campuses. Overall , Its was fun! Mark my word , if you are getting into this college then definitely you are securing at least one job , otherwise, you will get a lot of opportunities to get into top companies and also to start one if you have entrepreneur skills!

The campus has well-built classrooms with proper labs for each of the departments. It could have better labs for the mechanical department. The students have very less exposure to industries. I do not remember myself going for any industrial visit. There are a lot of activities happening in college be it sports, college fest, workshops, lectures, conferences, TEDx, etc. The college has students from all over the country. So a lot of interaction happens and lot to learn from every state. The teachers are of average quality, though there are very good experienced teachers. The college needs more efficient teachers. If you consider placements, this college is far better than many colleges. The placements happen with the main campus. So, you get every opportunity to get placed in companies ranging from Google to Infosys. This is a very good college from placements point of view considering you need to study yourself for the placements.

The College is well equipped with modern infrastructure, classrooms, labs, faculty, motivation and most importantly discipline.A good place to spend your engineering life. The encouragement of the faculty members along with their support makes you a better person as well as professional. The college also supports growth in extra curricular activities along with annual cultural fests and workshops time to time. The college has a brand name which attracts most of the companies and overall it's a good experience to be a member of PESIT South Campus, Bangalore.

College infrastructure is wonderful with well-equipped classrooms, labs, seminar halls, a large two storey library, a spacious quadrangle/badminton court, a regular size basketball court with cement flooring, a football field with nets and a fully functional turf cricket ground (KSCA matches are often played here). The only drawback is the long and tiring distance between the main gate and the actual engineering building. It would be wonderful if the management can build an auditorium to host events. Nonetheless, it is a fun college with a diverse crowd and an extremely qualified and able teaching staff. The placements, in particular, is one area where PES can take major pride in. Numerous well paying companies visit the campus giving most of the students an array of opportunities. Core companies like Volvo, GE, Mercedes-Benz, and Schneider Electric also make appearances to hire students for the respective fields. The management and the principal/director, in particular, is pretty strict in terms of discipline. We were in our final semester of engineering and we were one day caught for bunking class and playing cricket and were suspended for 2 whole weeks which resulted in our attendance taking a huge beating considering the number of working days for final semester students is only two and a half in a week. To sum up, great college.

PESIT South Campus, formerly known as PES School of Engineering (PESSE) is located on Hosur Road far in the south-western parts of Bangalore. Lots of BMTC buses ply on Hosur Road but there’s no stop for the college. The nearest bus stop of Electronics City being a kilometer away (as mentioned in their address), one has to walk that much distance to reach the gate of campus. So you might want to establish an amicable relationship with bus driver so that he’ll stop the bus outside college for you. Entrance to college is further three-fourths of a kilometer and the path leading there goes around the entire college building walking on which you keep wondering why have they kept the entrance at the backside, not to mention that it is devoid of any trees or shade. Infrastructure: When you enter the campus you can see a massive cricket ground in front of you, another enormous football field to your left and a cow grazing field to your right. The infrastructure and facilities are well up to date. Labs are well maintained and equipment is new. Library is also quite impressive and contains all the required books in sufficient numbers. The entire campus is WiFi enabled. Hostels are amazing and probably one of the best in entire Bangalore. Rooms are available on triple sharing basis and bathrooms are attached in each room. Charges are 50k a year including food. Food is average.

College faculty are very good. The infrastructure also beautiful. The faculties will help to do new projects.they encourages students.they will tell extra than the syllabus. More basic knowledge for placements, projects, and helpfull information about day to day life importance of engineering applications.

The best part of the college is Faculty. Faculty of ECE department are amazing as they teach us, indeed make us 'practice' engineering. The infrastructure of the college is good and it keeps us healthy too.The long walk from the campus gate to our classrooms is irritating but keeps us fit though The college is not much bent towards the cultural fests, but there are a few fests. Its different from other colleges because during the fests there are programmes both for fun loving and 'studious' students. The college life here seems like school to me because I was told that college is more fun than PUC, but then, here I realized that it's a school with wholesome of opportunities. In terms of placements, this college is one of the best in Karnataka. In fact, I joined the college because my seniors in my school were placed in the top companies. Coming to exposure, yes, our faculty, during class hours, makes sure that we are taught about the applications of whatever we are learning in the corporate world.

Till now I feel lucky to be on the campus, it has better campus and infrastructure. It is the college for studious people, with less interesting campus life. We have fewer activities on campus but on the main campus there are lots of activities and we are allowed to participate. Our hostel life is good. We have a single hostel for all years and the seniors are very helping. Teachers are extremely talented and helping in nature.
