Hello Aspirant,

you might get CSE or IT in category 4–5 also. If not then follow the following Thumb rule.

Take EC specialisation with VLSI. It is more demanding than ECE. Go for Electrical engineering rather than ECE because EE has more application in all government and private companies. ECE is more inclined towards software only. Your preference should be:

1. EE Vellore
2. EC with Specialisation in VLSI Vellore
3. EE Chennai
4. ECE (last)
