For a general candidate the stable rank is within cml 1000.
And for a obc candidate it can be approximated within
cml 1200.
Actually closing rank varies every year based on the quality of students applied and their branch preferences.
Previous year closing rank for a general candidate was about cml 1200 but this happen very rarely and cannot be considered as a stable rank.
So if you are a obc 1 category student your cml rank should be below 1200 for getting some branches.
For getting the core branches your rank should be below cml 500.
And since this is the first time bit sindri is taking admission through jee mains there can be ups and down on the cutoff rank of various branches.
