If you consider about the ROI, then the rate is really high. It is because the dept is in a university run by the state govt and the fee is very less compared to other colleges of the same tier. The package offered is same as that of what is offered in colleges like SSN, PSG, TSM etc. For Regular the fee is 25grand and for Self Supportive it is 50grand.
