IIT Guwahati has a central library, gym, auditorium, WIFI, sports grounds, labs, classrooms, stadiums, a hospital, a commercial complex, and other facilities. IIT Guwahati's accommodation is quite good, with separate rooms provided for each student. There are two girls' hostels and ten boys' hostels on campus, each with its own mess facilities. Throughout the year, various inter-hostel events are held to keep students engaged and to help them develop an overall perspective. The internet service is also quite efficient, with students having access to high-speed Wi-Fi and a computer lab 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
