Hi,

In BITS counseling, After the candidates fill up their preference order, the conducting authorities give the iterations where they tell, which student is getting what branch in the college. After 3 iterations if you are not satisfied by the seat then most of the students take off their names from the college. Then a 4th iteration takes place where the remaining students are alloted with the remaining seats.

This is the Iteration system in BITS.
